Father Christian Suriano – who was ordained on 11th February this year in Italy - came back especially to say Holy Mass at St Mary’s the Mount RC Church, Walsall.

Holywell

Following Holy Mass, Parish Priest Father Salvatore Musella said, “We had a wonderful celebration when Father Christian came back from Italy after his Ordination to say Mass for the people of Walsall, because Walsall has been the place where this young lad came from Holywell to do his training and to go to Oscott and so he grow up with people here and the people were really amazed seeing this child of theirs growing up as a priest and now saying a Mass for them.”

“So all the Walsall community was with all the Fathers, Brothers, and with all the people of St Mary’s they turned around Father Christian for the Celebration and for the party, and also to see how fruitful their prayers have been in order that praying for vocations, supporting vocations, helping vocations, at the end they are seeing the fruits of their own prayers.”
