"First Blessings" at Birmingham Oratory

Let us pray for Oratorian Father Francis Gavin, recently ordained to the sacred priesthood by Bishop Robert Byrne at Birmingham Oratory.

Ordained on Friday evening 7th December, Father Gavin celebrated his first Mass the next morning in the New Rite.

On the Sunday, he celebrated a Tridentine Solemn High Mass, and is seen here giving his "First Blessings" after that Mass.

Father Gavin hails from Dublin.
